YOUNGSTERS who have passed higher secondary are taking admissions in colleges....naturally that is a different life, against what was uptillnow. They are preparing to go out of their town and as they are busy, so are the parents. They are more conscious about their children reg college life and necessarily, if it is out of town, THE HOSTEL LIFE..... as an adult they are leaving their home for the first time. Their parents are giving lots of suggestions for adjustment in college, hostel, in other town/city, how to take care of their belongings, mummy will not be there to get them up early and this they have to manage themselves. How to manage self discipline. If get ill, consult Doctors immediately. Study in time and be cordial with seniors and others whom they meet...Enjoy college life, but take care of timely breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. avoiding outside food/junkfood...Inform daily mom and dad on phone about their well being. Take part in college activities but not at the cost of studies....Keep money as safe as possible and no unnecessary expenditure.......BESIDES above instructions, what they have to carry with them:
ATM card, driving licence, I card, torch, needle, scissor, first-aid-box, umbrella, sleeper, mirror, nailcutter, combs, bedsheet, airpillow, alarm clock, night lamp, tumbler, plates, cups, electronic kettle, polish and shoe brush, tiffin, lock and key, pen, diary, quickfix, soap case, paper soap, hankies with dresses.......What they feel scaring of there: HOME SICKNESS, RAGGING, UNDERSTANDING WITH ROOM-MATE, NATURE OF WARDEN, HOSTEL ATMOSPHERE, SECURITY, THE FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN HOSTEL........to continue on these points.....
